I have been in travel industry since 2002, as tour leader, operation manager and guest relation officer in high end hotel. During those years, I have been well appreciated by all the clients, (please see my review) I have highly professional service to render, information to share, stories to tell.
Bhutan Personal Tours is best tour organiser in Bhutan, they go into most minor details and takes you beyond what you have been looking for, Tsering Penjor or Mr. TP is most amazing tour guide we have ever known, He lead our tour group recently for 7 nights. we would recommend Bhutan Personal Tours for your holiday in Bhutan.
My family and I recently visited Bhutan (using Bhutan Personal Tours as our guide) and it was an amazing experience. Our guide, TP, and our driver, Karma, made us feel welcomed to Bhutan from the moment they picked us up at Paro airport. We visited four areas (Thimphu, Paro, Punakha, and the valley), and TP was extremely knowledgeable about each location. The accommodations that TP had set up for us were pretty good as well. I was traveling with my younger brother, uncle, and grandmother, so TP made sure all of the arrangements accommodated each person. If we had any questions or concerns, TP would address them right away. It really was a "personal" tour that was tailored to our likings and at our own pace. I would highly recommend using Bhutan Personal Tours and would rate my overall experience as a 9.5/10.
(I would also highly recommend hiking to the top of the Tigers Nest in Paro.)
Hope this helps!
We just completed an eight day trip in Bhutan organised by TP (Bhutan Personal Travels). TP is a fantastic person and guide with significant experience in Bhutan tourism. He focuses on your requirements and customizes your trip based on your preferences. He is very entrenched with the local culture and people there and that helped made ur Bhutan trip even more wonderful. Most importantly , we thought that he is willing to listen and provide unbiased views on various topics including our itinerary. We modified our itinerary several times during the trip and he happily obliged wherever he can. We even met his family members - who were as wonderful as TP.
A review of TP will not be complete without mentioning the superb driver ChenChu, who spent 8 days taking care of us.
Both of them made our Bhutan trip truly memorable. I would not have any hesitation in recommending TP as your guide in Bhutan. I will write a more detained review of our experience with TP ad the itinerary details when I get chance.
We just (November 6th) returned from an 11-day cultural tour with Bhutan Personal Tours- yes, this is a small, in-country tour company. The contact is Tsering Penjor who was very helpful in our initial planning for this trip- we found him and chose Bhutan Personal Tours based on what we read on Trip Advisor and we (my wife and I) are glad we did! We cannot say enough good things about this company! Our guide was Kado Drukpa and C Drukpa was our driver and we could not have asked for better service or companionship. They were simply GREAT! We travelled from west (Paro) to east (Bumthang) then returned home from Paro. There were too many highlights to discuss here- everyday was different and exciting. Be prepared for long drives and rough roads. The Bhutanese people are lovely and open.

Indeed I do. Myself any fiancé went on a tour with TP late last year and it was exquisite. TP is with you all the time as well as his driver who is also a pure gentlemen. October is the best time to go as there are numerous festivals to visit. Regardless of the time of year Bhutan is an amazingly special place and is made all the more enjoyable by a guide such as TP. We will be going again in the coming years with TP. I hope you enjoy your time there.
TP was our guide last year and gave our family an amazing time, going out of his way to cater to the needs of our three boys and make the experience both personal and unforgettable. We visited schools, met with locals, and clambored out on some extraordinary hikes. He even worked his magic to improve some hotel arrangements for us on the spot. A very sincere and caring guide who was genuinely anxious to please.
I believe most of Bhutanese travel agencies give personalized itineraries. And they do their best to provide good service to their customer because they answer to the government if the customer is not satisfied. I was a client of Bhutan Personal Tours in March 2014 and I am very pleased with Tsering Penjor and his company because:
1) When he received less that the agreed amount because unexpected correspondence bank charges, he just told me to pay the difference when we arrive.
2) Although he was not our guide, since he was guiding another group, he booked us in very good hotels
3) Whether by chance or planned, we met him with the clients he was guiding, at a tea house along the tour route and he personally welcomed us to Bhutan and asked us how we were doing.
4)He dined with us on our last night in Paro. After dinner, he asked us for comments about the tour in general, and specifics on the hotels he booked, the food, the guide and the drivers and our itinerary. He said that the after tour evaluation will help him improve his service.
Tsering Penjor, aka TP and his team made my Bhutan trip most memorable. The service was exceptional with good communication, the day tours were based on your desires. Sonam my tour guide was very patient, knowledgeable and supportive. My latitude sickness during my short stay was an inconvenient to me, but Sonam and my driver supported me in whatever my needs were, changing my itinerary as needed. Even thought I was not able to climd to the tiger nest the view from the look out point was amazing and worth the trip. Thanks guys.
I did a 7 day cultural tour with Bhutan Personal Tours at the end of January and was very pleased with the service that TP provided. He made sure that I got to see and experience everything I wanted to. In that sense, the tour was very personalized for me. Of course, we visited all of the major sites such as The Tiger's Nest Monastery and the various dzongs throughout the country but I also go to spend time in a farmhouse and enjoyed a nice hot stone bath, practice archery, go to a karaoke bar with some drinks and entertainment and much more. TP is well organized and his supporting staff (driver and other guides) were exceptional! If you go to Bhutan, you can't go wrong with Bhutan Personal Tours.
We have recently returned (25 Jan) from 10 fabulous days in glorious Bhutan with BPT & master guide TP with his 5* support team of driver Karma, chefs & horseman with 10 noble ponies. We chose BPT & TP over a big group tour because we wanted a personal tailored tour without missing any spontaneous experience & TP delivered. From the Tigers Nest to playing golf at Royal Thimphu, from being honoured guests at a Bhutanese family celebration to a hot rock tub, from an archery contest we stopped to have a look at then next minute being introduced to Bhutan Whiskey & local dancing all then to a 4 day trek on the Druk path with frozen streams & walks with a detour to a frozen glacial lake & frozen waterfalls, all with TP's characteristic humour & will to please. So yes BPT with TP you can put your trust and hard earned & enjoy with the old saying " if it is to be it is up to me".
